How to Age in Community Via Senior Housing and Helpful Services

Does Your Current Home Fit the Bill?

The home and community you chose in your younger years checked all the boxes, but what about now? Before you fret about having to pack up and move, take a good look at your surroundings and the features that make it an age-in-place community. For example, is the neighborhood safe? Are there outlets for socializing? What about safe transportation?
As a senior, you might not know that Medicare doesn’t cover transportation to the doctor, but some Medicare Advantage plans do by partnering with ride-sharing services. Before you get stuck without a ride, consider switching from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage plan.

Your generous donation to Culver Palms Meals on Wheels program will help feed seniors living on the Westside of Los Angeles. Our nutritious meals and friendly visits help our clients cope with three of the biggest threats of aging: hunger, isolation, and loss of independence.

We provide nutritious meals to the homebound who live on the westside of Los Angeles. We serve from Pico Blvd. to LAX and from La Cienega Blvd. to the coast.

We need and depend on our volunteers. Our volunteers donate over 700 volunteer hours each month to deliver meals and help our part-time staff run the office.
If you have a heart for homebound seniors we want you!
